Male Patterned Hairloss, aka Androgenic Alopecia, is hairloss characterised by the gradual death of hair follicles due to excessive amounts of DHT in the hair follicle cells. The classical pattern of hairloss is due to the distribution of hair follicle cells which contain the receptors sensitive to DHT. 

There is a large array of both evidence-based but unfortunatelly also sham treatments out in the market. This is why here at Dr J Aesthetics, we believe in carefully explaining treatment options available, their evidence, nature of the treatments, realistic expectations, potential benefits and risks, and estimated costs in order for you to make the best decision for your own personal circumstances. 

Our founder and Clinical Director Dr. Jeremy has treated over 2000 men for Androgenic Alopecia and is well versed on the current evidence (or lack thereof) for current treatment options. 

Fees are for the consultation only, and any prescriptions are subject to suitability for each patient. 

After reviewing their quality control and costs in person, Dr J. Aesthetics has partnered with Synergy Compounding Pharmacy in Sydney to fulfill any prescribed custom formulations. However patients are welcome to fill scripts with their preferred compounding pharmacy if they so desire. For full disclosure Dr J. Aesthetics does not receive any reimbursements/benefits from Synergy Compounding Pharmacy.
