Bio-remodelling agents consists of a high concentration of hyaluronic acid. Bio-remodelling injectables are a class of innovative treatments which works by promoting increased skin hydration, and stimulating the natural production of your skin's collagen and elastin to help replace those lost from photodamage and aging.
Unlike dermal fillers, bio-remodelling injectables do not add volume to the treated area. The treatment aims to rejuvenate, hydrate, and tighten your skin, and is used to treat tired, aged, lax and dehydrated skin as well as for fine lines and wrinkles.
Bio-remodelling injectables are commonly used for skin rejuvenation on the face but can also be used on the neck and other body areas.
Bio-remodelling treatments utilise a high concentration of hyaluronic acid, which is injected just below the skin's surface. This slow-release mechanism provides long-term moisturisation, leaving your skin firm and radiant within days of treatment. The treatment stimulates your body's natural collagen and elastin production, resulting in:
Bio-remodelling can be applied to various areas of the face and body including:
A consultation with your treating doctor to assess suitability is required prior to any treatments with Bio-Remodelling Injectables.
A typical bio-remodelling treatment session involves the following steps:
For optimal results, an initial course of two treatments, spaced one month apart, is recommended. Maintenance treatments can be performed every 6-12 months.
Like with any cosmetic treatment, being aware of potential risks is essential. While bio-remodelling injections are generally well-tolerated, some patients may encounter mild discomfort or bruising after the treatment. Temporary small bumps at the injection sites may also be observed, but these typically fade within two to three hours. Serious side effects are uncommon occurrences and may include secondary skin infections, allergic reactions, granuloma formations, vascular occlusions, and complications resulting from the above..
Individual responses to bio-remodelling injections can vary. While many patients experience positive outcomes and minimal side effects, there is always a possibility of an individual having an unexpected reaction. Discussing your medical history and any pre-existing conditions with your doctor to assess your suitability for bio-remodelling injections and minimise potential risks will be an essential step before undergoing the treatment.
